Anna Rose: Bowery Electric This Tuesday

Tues­day night, con­sid­er head­ing out to the Bow­ery Elec­tric for an evening show at 9:30PM. Let’s face it: you’re prob­a­bly not do­ing any­thing on Tues­day, Ju­ly 10th, so you might as well join us for a night with fe­male singer-song­writ­er An­na Rose.

From the press re­lease: “Sul­try rock ‘n roll spit­fire An­na Rose (daugh­ter of the leg­endary Alan Menken of Dis­ney & Broad­way fame) is set to re­lease her sopho­more al­bum Be­hold A Pale Horse lat­er this year. This 26 year old elec­tric la­dy’s re­cent soul­ful, dark cov­er of AR­CADE FIRE’S “My Body Is a Cage” re­ceived both na­tion­al and in­ter­na­tion­al at­ten­tion the likes of The 405, CBC Ra­dio, Mag­net Mag­a­zine & the ac­com­pa­ny­ing video di­rect­ed by Moh Az­i­ma (Cold War Kids, In­ter­pol, Chromeo) was pre­miered ex­clu­sive­ly through NME.com.”
